Located just three blocks from downtown Traverse City, the Old Town Playhouse and the OTP Young Company is housed in a renovated three-story turn-of-the-century church.

Performance areas are barrier-free and include a 275-seat MainStage auditorium and the 60-seat Schmuckal Theatre. In addition, the OTP regularly rents space from other local venues for some OTP Young Company performances. The Playhouse houses conference and multipurpose/rehearsal rooms, a wood shop/set construction and storage area, make-up rooms, and costume construction and storage facilities.

In addition to performances, workshops and classes held at OTP, Young Company touring productions travel to area schools, community centers, libraries and bookstores, bringing a variety of performances to a broad audience.
