Tom, a new schoolteacher, is nervous about his first day of teaching. As he tries to relax by watching TV, various characters emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Featuring the familiar songs from the Emmy Award-winning 1970s educational animated TV series, you will have fun and learn something at the same time!

Based on the ever-popular, award-winning 1970s cartoons, this fast-paced musical teaches lessons with clever, catchy tunes. The Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is now the basis for one of the most fun musicals ever to hit the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR.

Cast List

Tom - The idealistic young teacher and hero of our story. He is nervous about his first day of teaching, yet gradually becomes more at east as the show continues.
George - A calming presence and excellent cheerleader for Tom. He is the romantic, and he is caring and in control (Vocal range Bb2-E4)
Dori - The goofiest of the gang, often acting silly and being playful.(Vocal range A3-C5)
Shulie - Sweet and genuine. (Vocal range G3-C5)
Joe - Definitely one cool kid. He's laid back and fun-loving. (Vocal range D3-E4)
Dina - Mature, thoughtful, and grounded. (Vocal range Bb3-C5)
Elvis - The King of Rock and Roll. (Vocal range B2-D4)
Janet - Oozes personality. (Vocal range C4-D5)
