Accompanist

Proficient keyboard player responsible for providing piano accompaniment during rehearsals with the cast as scheduled by the Vocal Director and Production Manager.  This is a paid position. Ideally and if possible, the Accompanist could continue on to perform with the orchestra in performances.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be present at requested vocal rehearsals and assist the Vocal Director in teaching the cast their music.
• If able, be part of the orchestra pit during the run of the show.  This aids in continuity when adding the orchestra to the cast rehearsals.
