The Tragedy of Macbeth

A tragedy about a Scottish nobleman whose blind ambition, spurred by three witches' prophecies and his wife, leads him to murder King Duncan and seize the throne. Plagued by guilt and paranoia, Macbeth becomes a tyrant, committing more murders to secure his power before being defeated and killed by Macduff, restoring order.
