Studio Factory Double Feature

This double-feature has two one-act plays:

Youth Studio Factory performs Folk Tails: Monkeys and turtles and coyotes - oh, my! A group of narrators come together to tell international folk tales introducing young audiences to The Monkey's Heart from India, Anansi's Dinner Guest from the Ashanti people of Ghana, The Bremen Town Musicians based in Germany, Coyote Gets Revenge from the Chippewa people of North America, as well as other Asian and African folk tales.

Teen Studio Factory performs Bad Auditions by Bad Actors: A casting director has one day to find the leads for a community theater production of Romeo and Juliet. But what seems like a simple task proves impossible when the pool of actors includes extreme method actors, performers who just don't know what to do with their hands, and one particular woman who may or may not think she's a cat. This hilarious comedy will bring you to the last place you'd ever want to be...behind the doors of a casting session.

Note that these performances are at The MATCH, in the Cherryland Mall, 1728 S. Garfield Ave, Traverse City (entrance near the old K-Mart entrance).
