Auditions for The Christmas Schooner

Auditions for The Christmas Schooner are September 11 & 12 at 6:30 PM. If necessary, call backs are on September 13 at 6:30 PM. Auditions are in the Schmuckal Theatre (basement of Old Town Playhouse).

Audition Requirements

Sign up online in advance. Yes, there will be availability to sign up at the audition, but this will give you time to really consider how to answer things. You will be able to edit your answers right up until the moment we start auditions on the night you are there!

You will be asked to sing a 16-32 bar cut of a song of your choice. Please bring easy to read sheet music for the accompanist that will be supplied. We would love to hear songs where a story is being told or some sort of emotional “need” song. Can be any tempo. The important thing is that we want to be drawn into your story with your song. 

There will also be a short dance audition as well. Please make sure to wear clothing that you can move in and shoes that you can dance in.
