Auditions for Lend Me a Soprano

Auditions for Lend Me a Soprano are September 9 & 10 at 6:30 PM. If necessary, call backs are on September 11 at 6:30 PM. Auditions are in the Schmuckal Theatre (lower level of Old Town Playhouse).

Audition Requirements

Sign up online in advance (more details at this link as well). Yes, there will be availability to sign up at the audition, but this will give you time to really consider how to answer things. You will be able to edit your answers right up until the moment we start auditions on the night you are there!

This show is not a musical comedy, it is a hilarious comedy with some beautiful singing by two cast members.  Only two female cast members, Elena and Jo, will sing brief opera pieces. Those auditioning for Elena and Jo will be asked to bring 16 bars from an operatic aria of their choice to the audition.  When you fill out the form, please let us know what you plan to sing at audition so our pianist can be prepared. It can be any aria in your voice range that makes you feel and sound great!

This is a fast paced show requiring some physical stamina from the cast. Wear something comfortable to the audition.
