Annual Meeting June 26, 2025

Annual Meeting is June 26, 2025 at 6:30 pm!

This yearly celebration is a great place to find out how OTP is doing, sign up for your 2025-26 membership, and catch up with friends, old and new. We will announce the winners of the Hall of Fame, Volunteer of the Year and Peg Brace awards. Members will elect one Trustee and three Artistic Committee members. Doors open at 6 pm, we will have snacks available.

Important Meeting Information 
•       All are invited to attend.
•       Candidates for leadership positions will be introduced before voting, the election is completed at the meeting.
•       You must be a current Member to vote - if you are unsure of your member status, you can call the office or box office.
•       Anyone who is a current member can run for a leadership position.
•       Absentee voting will be available. Ballots will be emailed to all members on June 13. Deadline for return of absentee ballots is June 23. Ballots can be returned by mail, email or in person to the office.

Member Voting Privileges 
OTP functions on a fiscal year beginning on July 1. Any person who has donated a minimum of $25 to OTP between July 1, 2024 and June 26, 2025 is eligible for one vote. Households donating a minimum of $40 have voting privileges for two people. 

Want to run for Artistic Committee or Trustee? 
To run for AC or Trustee, you must be a member. A short bio and statement of why you want to run must be received in the office by email, mail or in person by Friday, June 6, to be on the absentee ballot. Nominations can be made from the floor but to be included on the absentee ballot, information must be received by June 6. 

Artistic Committee Positions 
There are three full term seats up for election this year. The Artistic Committee impacts the artistic and creative output of the Playhouse. The AC meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Please review the Artistic Committee roles on the OTP website before you apply.

Board of Trustees Position 
There are three seats on the Board that are elected by the membership. One of those seats is up for election each year. A Trustee is responsible for financial, strategic and policy governance of the Playhouse rather than management of the organization. They are advocates for OTP in the community. Board of Trustee meetings are held every other month on the third Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Please see the Trustee Job Description and Expectations document on the OTP website for more information.
