Learning Lab this Saturday, May 24

On Saturday, May 24 at 10am, Aged To Perfection (ATP) Senior Readers Theatre will continue its Learning Lab series, exploring acting techniques in readers theatre. The session will be conducted by Phil Murphy, OTP staff member and former acting instructor.

This new session extends the focus on approaches outlined by Michael Shurtleff and Uta Hagen. Participants will discuss the given circumstances for characters in the play Hello Out There by William Saroyan, establishing those circumstances, and inferring how they impact upon characters. The session will also spotlight character needs and actions.

Aged To Perfection Learning Lab presentations are offered once a month as part of the group’s regular meetings. Meetings are conducted on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10 am to noon.
