The OTP Young Company is thrilled to be collaborating with professional Theatre Company, Parallel 45 this summer on their upcoming production of Little Bunny Foo Foo.  Our partnership will include a four week half-day workshop for 5-8 year-olds here in the Schmuckal Studio Theatre followed by performances of the play at the Civic Center Amphitheatre through August 2nd.  Students will work with our own staff and P45’s professional Assistant Director throughout the project.  Space is limited to 20 participants and students must commit to all aspects of the schedule. The 4 week session of morning workshop for students ages 5-8 (class code SW 1) begins June 24th and runs Monday through Friday from 9:30-12:30. Participants spend each day learning about a different aspect of the theatre from acting and costumes to lighting, sound  and scenery.  Afternoon rehearsals (1:30 to 3:30) beginning the week of July 9th will prepare the students for their roles in P45’s Little Bunny Foo Foo.  Performances begin July 18 and run through August 2 (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily).  Visit our website at www.oldtownplayhouse.com/young-co for the fully detailed daily schedule.

All workshop students will be cast in the P45 show.  If you have an aspiring young performer in your family, this is the perfect opportunity to ensure their place in the cast of this new musical and play with the pros.
