“Have fun…come play with us….become an Old Town Playhouse Volunteer”
VOLUNTEER PICNIC JULY 25 2009
Our first Volunteer Picnic will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Rick Korndorfer’s Lake Leelanau property beginning at Noon.
Please bring a dish to pass: appetizer, salad or dessert…or, if you have a special dish that you would like to share, please feel free to bring it. Hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, buns, condiments, soda, bottled water and utensils. You may bring any drinks that we are not providing. Also, please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for seating.
We will have swimming, games, and fun for all. Bring the entire family from the kids to the grandparents, even visiting relatives and enjoy a fun day to celebrate a successful season. We will also be presenting the Volunteer of the Year and Peg Brace awards.
Please RSVP to: volunteer@oldtownplayhouse.com to help the committee to plan an appropriate amount of food, games, etc.
Directions to Rick’s property:
Address: 3880 South Lake Leelanau Drive
Take M22 north to Cherry Bend Road. Left on Cherry Bend to Bugai Road. Right on Bugai which becomes Lake Leelanau Drive. Follow Lake Leelanau Drive for 7.6 miles. One of the landmarks you will pass is Veronica Valley Park; at this point you are .8 of a mile from Rick’s. The property is on the left side of the road. There is a sign with Rick’s name beside the driveway entrance. Another landmark is a stone farm house (Grant’s Farm) on the right side of the road just beyond Rick’s. We will have balloons at the driveway entrance to the property with signs for parking on the property.
