Years after the horrific crash of Pam Am flight 103, a mother from New Jersey roams the hills of Lockerbie, Scotland, seeking a tangible shred of her son’s belongings to cling to. In the night, she meets the women of Lockerbie, who are struggling to obtain the clothing of the victims found in the plane’s wreckage. Determined to convert an act of hatred into an act of love, the women want to wash the clothes of the dead and return them to the victim’s families. Inspired by a true story, this gripping drama is a poetic tribute to the triumph of love over hate.
