Book & Lyrics By Lisa Kron
Music By Jeanine Tesori

Directed By Debbie Hershey and Nick Viox

This groundbreaking musical traces the coming-of-age of lesbian author Alison Bechdel, from her youth, to her college years, to the present, where she is struggling to write her own graphic autobiography. Adapted from Bechdel’s memoir, the story follows Alison’s discovery of her own sexuality, her relationship with her closeted gay father and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life. The story explores the haunting pull of memory and the power it has to alternately destroy or shape our identity.
