    Up Next: A Midsummer Night's Dream

    WHAT FOOLS THESE MORTALS BE!

    Welcome to the Young Company version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! It’s the bard’s language we know and love on an abridged scale that will appeal to all. Full of magical hijinks and broad comedy, Shakespeare is brought to life with all the fools and fairies a primeval forest can hold!

    These dinner-theatre performances are held at the Grand Traverse Event Center, 738 S. Garfield Ave, Traverse City. Get Directions. Food and drink available for purchase 90 minutes before showtime.

    Performances are April 18, 19, 20 at 7 PM.

    Young Company is the educational arm of the Old Town Playhouse and offers a wide variety of classes, workshops and productions for young people of all ages.  Our class sessions are held in the fall, winter and late spring, offering a uniquely authentic theatre learning experience.

    Since 1960, the Old Town Playhouse has been bringing the best in community theatre to the Grand Traverse region. A leader in the area’s rich cultural environment, the Old Town Playhouse brings entertainment and education to over 20,000 participants each year, through over 90 performances, 25 Young Company performances and numerous special events and community appearances. Driven by the passion and energy of its volunteers, the Old Town Playhouse brings together hundreds of community residents to create quality entertainment and moving arts experiences for all ages.
